Senator Wash Boat Ramp & Day Use Area
DIRECTIONS TO SITE: Use Interstate 8 to Yuma, AZ. Take the 4th Avenue exit to Imperial County Road S-24. Go north approximately 22 miles to Senator Wash Road. Turn left and follow signs 4 miles to Senator Wash Boat Ramp.

FACILITIES PROVIDED: Day use parking, boat ramp, one restroom with flush toilets and outdoor showers, bouyed swimming area, trash disposal, pay phone.
FEATURES: This site provides opportunities for picnics, swimming, fishing, boating, skiing, and wildlife viewing. Wildlife species include waterfowl, shore birds, coyotes, quail, and reptiles. The site also provides boat-in access to camping areas at Senator Wash North Shore, and Senator Wash South Shore.
FEES/PERMITS REQUIRED: The fee is $10 per vehicle for day-use or $75 annually per vehicle for up to 5 people per vehicle. There will be a $1 per person fee charged for each person over the 5 person limit. Visitors must pay daily fees at self-registration fee pipes located at the site or at the BLM Yuma Field Office (address below). Annual permits are currently available for purchase at the Yuma Field Office.
LIMITATIONS: Use is limited to day use only, 6am to 10pm. There are no lifeguards at the swimming area. Other rules are posted or available from on-site host. The site does not have boat access to the Colorado River.
