Central Yukon Field Office

Map of the portion of Alaska covered by Central Yukon Field OfficeFrom its office in Fairbanks, the Central Yukon Field Office manages approximately 12.7 million acres of public lands in central Alaska. The office's area of responsibility includes a 2-million-acre corridor of public lands straddling the Dalton Highway from the Yukon River to the north side of the Brooks Range. During the summer the field office staffs two facilities along the Dalton Highway: the Arctic Interagency Visitor Center in Coldfoot and a visitor contact station at Yukon Crossing.
