The Frisco herd management area is located in south western Utah, 12 miles west of Milford. The herd history of the area is believed to be primarily from domestic stock. The horses most likely came from local ranching operations or active mining claims on the San Francisco mountains. Colors are primarily bay and brown, with various shades of red & strawberry roan throughout the herd. Adult animals average in size from 14 to 14-2 hands tall.
