Internships

  • Seeds of Success: Are you interested in joining a collection team? Interns are engaged via our partners like the Great Basin Institute’s Research Associates Program or the Chicago Botanic Garden’s Conservation and Land Management Internship Program. Interns scout and map plant populations and collect seed for the national Seeds of Success program. Collected seed is used for conservation, research and development, and in future restoration and reclamation projects. Other intern tasks may include rare plant surveys, seeding trials, reclamation inspections or interaction with range, wildlife and recreation staff. Buffalo, Lander, Pinedale, and Rawlins Field Offices will be hosting interns for the 2014 field season.
