On October 16, 2009, the Bureau of Land Management Wyoming State Office posted a Notice of Competitive Oil and Gas Lease Sale for 73 parcels of land located in the State of Wyoming to be offered for lease by oral auction on December 1, 2009.

The Bureau of Land Management has decided to defer offering the following 15 parcels pending Washington Office guidance on wilderness issues:
