Location: Fremont County

Site Features: mill tailings containing high concentrations of arsenic

Safety Hazards: potential for human exposure to arsenic due to high recreational use in the area

Environmental Hazards: adverse water quality impacts to Willow Creek resulting from arsenic levels in tailings

Reclamation: removed 880 cubic yards of tailings, recontoured the area & seeded with native vegetation

Date of Reclamation: 2004

Cost: $340,000 (Wyoming $275,000; BLM $65,000)
