Location: Fremont County Site Features: 1 vertical opening, 1 portal, open adit, 4 spoil piles, 3 trenches, 1 pit, historical debris/structures, Safety Hazards: portal has unstable fractured bedrock; adit poses a hazard for ceiling collapse and entrapment Environmental Hazards: portal No. 1 has standing water at a depth of 6 inches with the hazard of commingling of surface runoff with the groundwater; unstable spoil piles compromising channel function. Proposed Reclamation: hand labor closure; PUF and stone bulkhead closure Estimated Costs: over $10,000 for construction alone. Additional cost will include cultural/historic, bat survey, etc; reports and environmental analysis
