Location: Fremont County Site Features: 2 portals, open adits, >8 spoil piles, 2 trenches, 9 pits, historical debris/structures Safety Hazards: portal has fractured gneiss bedrock with unstable overhang and sides; pit, feature no. 4 poses a hazard due to its depth and proximity to the access road Environmental Hazards: spoils associated with pit nos. 6, 8, and 9 are located in the drainage with associated sediment loading and compromised channel function Proposed Reclamation: bat access closure (culvert and grate); pit closure; stabilize spoil piles to control erosion and channel damage Estimated Costs: $10000.00 for construction alone. Additional cost will include cultural/historic, bat survey, etc; reports and environmental analysis
