Green River Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center
Every summer, the Green River Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center showcases two wild horses so people can see wild horses up close and personal and to promote the BLM's Wild Horse and Burro Adoption Program. Both horses are available on a first come/first served basis.
Name the Fillies Contest
You can help name the two yearling fillies #6690 and #9710 at the Visitor Center this summer. Entries are accepted via email: office@grchamber.com, the Chamber's Facebook page, mail or hand-delivery to: Green River Chamber, 1155 W. Flaming Gorge Way, Green River, WY 82935. Entries must be received by June 22. The winners will be announced in the Chamber's July newsletter, receive a $25 gift certificate and have their picture taken with the horses.
