Tess Buchannan decided to get into the Halloween spirit by dressing her adopted horse, Thea for the holiday. This was the practice run to see how to put everything on and see how she would do. Thea didn’t flinch at all and just stood patiently. The hardest part was keeping her from eating her own hula skirt!

Thea is 2½. Tess has had her for a year and it’s the first horse she has ever started. Thea is smart as a whip and definitely the comedienne of our barn. She loves popcorn, peppermints and SWAT (ewww).

Thea loves attention. People are her favorite companions. She loves to be touched, rubbed, and scratched. We call her Pig Pen because she is happiest when she is covered in mud, grass and leaves!
