Directions

From I-80 in Rock Springs, take the Elk Street exit and go north 1 mile. Turn right (east) onto Lionkol Road and go approximately 1/2 mile.
Requirements & Application
Friday, Jan. 27 - noon-3 p.m. 
Preview the wild horses available at the RSWHHF, ask questions of BLM specialists, and fill out the adoption application.

Saturday, Jan. 28 - 8 a.m.-noon
The adoption showcases curly horses which will be offered for silent bid and are from the White Mountain HMA. All remaining horses will be available on a first come, first serve basis for the standard adoption fee of $125. Untrained weanlings, geldings, and mares gathered from the White Mountain/Little Colorado, Great Divide Basin and Red Desert Complex herd management areas will be available for adoption. A wide variety of colors and ages – Palominos, pintos, buckskins, cremellos, duns, roans, bay, blacks, grays, and sorrels.
