Old Frontier Town at Cheyenne Frontier Days
New this year at Cheyenne Frontier Days, six total yearlings will be available for adoption during the "Daddy" of 'em all.
- Friday, July 18 - Sunday, July 20
The first two yearlings will be available for viewing and bidding at 9 a.m. until the silent competitive bidding closes on Sunday, July 20, at 1 p.m.
- Monday, July 21 - Wednesday, July 23
A new set of yearlings will show up Monday at 9 a.m. and be displayed until Wednesday when the second round of silent competitive bidding closes at 1 p.m.
- Thursday, July 24 - Saturday, July 26
The final set of yearlings will arrive on Thursday at 9 a.m. and be available for viewing and silent competitive bidding until Saturday, July 26 at 1 p.m.
All six yearlings will be halter started at the Mantle Wild Horse Adoption and Training Facility. They will arrive in pairs of two and be available for three days each. We will post the yearlings pictures and the corresponding days that they will be available on our website and Facebook.
All adopters need to make their own shipping arrangements for horses they adopt.
BLM Wild Horse and Burro Program information booth will be open daily from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
If any of the horses are not adopted during their three days at CFD, they will be available for adoption, by appointment, at the Mantle Wild Horse Adoption and Training Facility.
