  • Over 228,000 acres surveyed at the Class III level (intensive inventory) - 121,497 acres on BLM administered lands & 106,848 acres on non-BLM surface.
  • Over 6,000 actions occurred
  • 4,182 sites recorded - 2,274 on BLM administered lands & 1908 on non-BLM surface.
  • 103 properties determined eligible for the National Register of Historic Places
  • 2,751 properties avoided destruction
  • 112 cultural properties in stable condition
  • 22 anti-looting/anti-vandalism signs installed to protect cultural resources
  • 76 cultural resource use permits in effect
  • 30 public presentations on archaeology & historic preservation presented to over 1200 people
  • 7 professional conference presentations or articles published in professional journals on archaeology & historic preservation
  • 48 consultation meeetings with representatives & governments of federally-recognized Indian tribes
