  • Over 186,000 acres surveyed at the Class III level (intensive inventory) – 83,105 acres on BLM administered lands and 103,699 acres on non-BLM surface
  • Over 5,300 actions occurred 
  • 3,323 sites recorded - 1,444 on BLM administered lands and 1,879 on non-BLM surface.
  • 655 properties determined eligible for the National Register of Historic Places
  • 3,098 properties avoided destruction
  • 418 monitored cultural properties in stable condition
  • 28 anti-looting/anti-vandalism signs installed to protect cultural resources
  • 85 cultural resource use permits in effect
  • 105 public presentations on archaeology and historic preservation presented to over 6,400 people

  • 53 consultation meetings with representatives and governments of federally-recognized Indian tribes
