Sparhawk Cabin In order to preserve the Sparhawk cabin for future generations, the stabilization and roofing efforts initiated in 2005 need to be completed. This work will require volunteers to be able to: use hand tools, do some heavy lifting, work in adverse conditions, and work in a team. If you are interested in volunteering, call Jared Oakleaf at 307-332-8407. Last year, vandals stole the cabin door. The door was unique and added to the structures’ historic appeal. The Lander Field Office proposes using increased 2006 funding to hire a contractor who will create a replica door. |
