High School students visit Buffalo Field Office

Buffalo High School sophomores visited the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Buffalo Field Office (BFO) on career day this April 14. Students spent the day visiting local businesses and learning about different career opportunities.

Students learned about careers in fire, law enforcement, oil and gas, wildlife, realty, range, and administration. Students also received information on the student career employment program (SCEP) and student temporary employment program (STEP).

This event was the first time some of the students had visited the BFO and they left with a better understanding about not only how BLM works but how BLM fits into the community.
