BLM Releases DR and FONSI for Reynolds Ranch Uranium ISR Mining Project
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Casper Field Office announces a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Decision Record (DR) for the Cameco Resources/Power Resources Incorporated (PRI) Reynolds Ranch Uranium In-Situ Recovery (ISR) Environmental Assessment (EA).
Cameco Resources, Inc. plans to conduct new ISR uranium mining and reclamation on public land located 30 miles northwest of Douglas in Converse County. ISR mining has been conducted in the area since 1981, and Cameco proposes to expand its uranium mining operations on public land by 45.6 acres.

The BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land, the most of any Federal agency.
