PAWG Task Group Meetings Scheduled for May 22 and June 4


The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale Field Office will host two Pinedale Anticline Working Group (PAWG) Task Group meetings at the Pinedale Field Office at 1625 West Pine in Pinedale, Wyo.

The Wildlife Task Group will meet at 2 p.m. on May 22. The agenda will include a discussion of recommendations based on fisheries information.

The Air Quality Task Group will meet on June 4, from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. The meeting will focus on an in-depth review of the 2005 Air Quality Monitoring Report to determine future actions.

The BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land, the most of any Federal agency. This land, known as the National System of Public Lands, is primarily located in 12 Western states, including Alaska. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation. The BLM's mission is to manage and conserve the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations under our mandate of multiple-use and sustained yield. In Fiscal Year 2013, the BLM generated $4.7 billion in receipts from public lands.
