PAWG Meeting Scheduled for July 24

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) invites the public to attend its next Pinedale Anticline Working Group (PAWG) meeting on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the BLM Pinedale Field Office located at 1625 W. Pine St. in Pinedale, Wyo.

The PAWG was authorized and established with release of the Record of Decision (ROD) for the Pinedale Anticline Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Project on July 27, 2000. The PAWG advises the BLM on the development and implementation of monitoring plans and adaptive management decisions as development of the Pinedale Anticline Natural Gas Field proceeds for the life of the field.

The agenda for the meeting includes discussions concerning any modifications that PAWG Task Groups may wish to make to their monitoring recommendations and overall adaptive management implementation as it applies to the PAWG. At a minimum, public comments will be heard prior to adjournment of each meeting. Additional meetings are scheduled for Sept. 25, 2008, and Oct. 23, 2008.

For more information on the PAWG meeting schedule, contact Dave Crowley, BLM/PAWG Liaison at (307) 367-5323, or visit the PAWG website at www.blm.gov/wy/st/en/field_offices/Pinedale/pawg.html.
