Collins    307-261-7603 BLM Temporarily Closes Goldeneye  Wildlife and Recreation Area The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Casper Field office is temporarily closing Goldeneye Wildlife and Recreation Area on June 27, 2008. Family Tree Productions has obtained a special recreation permit for the third annual Manafest Music Festival. The festival will be located at the Goldeneye Wildlife and Recreation Area this Friday. The special recreation permit grants exclusive use of the area to Family Tree Productions. People may enter the site only with the permission of the permittee. BLM will implement an emergency closure of the public lands from 6 p.m. Friday June 27, 2008 to 8 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008. Goldeneye Wildlife and Recreation Area is located approximately 20 miles northwest of Casper on U.S. 20/26.
