Rock Springs BLM Invites Public to
Devon Drilling Projects On-site Visit
The Rock Springs BLM invites the public to participate in a public on-site visit on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, to the Devon Energy Company proposed gas well sites, in the Red Creek and Sage Creek Management Areas.
The two-well proposed gas project would be located in the Red Creek and Sage Creek Management Areas, as defined by the 1997 Green River Resource Management Plan Record of Decision.
The proposals are located in Township 13 N., Range 106 W., Section 28 and Township 14 N., Range 105, Section 4," said Jeromy Caldwell, BLM Rock Springs natural resource specialist. "We need the public to understand and to be involved.”
Participants will meet at 8 a.m. in the BLM office, located at 280 Highway 191 North in Rock Springs. The BLM has allocated four hours for the public to review the proposal. It is recommended that people joining the caravan to the on-site should drive or ride in high clearance vehicles, but four-wheel drive vehicles are not required. Warm clothing, sturdy footwear and sun protection are recommended.
Along with public input at the on-site visit, comments may be submitted electronically to: email@example.com. E-mailed comments should include "Devon Drilling Projects" in the subject line. Comments can also be submitted through regular mail to:
