June 11, 2007 Contact: Rey Adame 307-352-0399 Greg Reser 307-367-5350 Pinedale BLM Issues Firewood Permits The Pinedale BLM will begin offering firewood permits throughout the field office jurisdiction. Permits are limited and will be issued on a first-come first-serve basis from June 8 to Nov. 12, 2007. Permits must be obtained at the Pinedale Field Office located at 1625 West Pine St. from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. The cost is $5.00 per cord, with a three-cord minimum and an eight-cord maximum of firewood per individual. Additionally, there will be a 20 percent maintenance fee which will be used as a BLM road maintenance fund. All firewood must be removed by Nov. 12, 2007.
