Climb to Conquer Cancer Casper is a noncompetitive walk to raise awareness and funds to fight cancer. Contributions are dedicated to life-saving American Cancer Society research, education, advocacy and patient service programs to defeat this disease.
Participants will have the choice of walking 2.5 miles on the Loop Road within the Muddy Mountain Environmental Education Area or climbing 5 miles up Muddy Mountain Road. There will be lunch and live entertainment at Lodgepole Campground.
The walk will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorized travel on Muddy Mountain Road is restricted during the event for the protection of the participants. Camping space may also be limited on Friday evening as the American Cancer Society will be preparing for the upcoming event.
