The BLM office in Cheyenne is selling Forest Service Christmas tree permits for the Medicine Bow/Routt National Forests. Permits are $10 per tree with a limit of five trees per family. Areas west of Laramie, in the Snowy Range or Fox Park, off highways 130 and 230, are open for cutting.

Permits may be purchased at the BLM, 5353 Yellowstone, Cheyenne, Monday - Friday 7:45 am to 4:30 pm through December or at the Centennial Forest Service Visitor Center on weekends from 10 am to 2 pm until Dec. 17, 2006.
