Pinedale BLM Sets Public On-site Meeting for Aug. 30

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale Field Office will hold a public meeting regarding the proposed Sublette County Golf Course expansion project at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 30. Public participators will meet at the BLM Pinedale Field Office located at 432 E. Mill Street and then travel to the proposed site.

The proposed expansion is located off of Redstone-New Fork River Road, approximately ¼ mile west of the existing golf course. The 18-hole project will encompass approximately 280 acres.

The BLM has accepted Sublette County’s application and is reviewing it under the Recreation & Public Purposes Act. Written comments pertaining to the proposed expansion will be accepted through Oct. 1, 2006.
