The General Land Office will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day during Cheyenne Frontier Days. This office will provide an opportunity for families, cultural and historical enthusiasts and horse lovers to learn how Wyoming was homesteaded in the early 20th Century. BLM employees will also give demonstrations on paleontology, proper horse care and historic surveying techniques. Demonstrations will be daily at 11 a.m. and/or 3 p.m. Please stop by the Land Office to check on demonstration times. If you’re interested in wild horses, we’ll have several horses onsite and our specialists can answer any questions about adopting a horse. Come visit the General Land Office and Wild Horse Gulch to take a step back in time, to when the old west was still being won.
