BLM Casper Field Office Temporarily Closes Goldeneye Reservoir

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Casper Field Office will implement an emergency closure of public lands at Goldeneye Reservoir from 6 pm Saturday, June 17 to 8 am Sunday, June 18.

A Special Recreation Permit has been issued for a music festival at the site. The Special Recreation Permit gives exclusive use of the area to the permittee. People may enter the site only with the permission of the permittee.

Restrictions at the site include:
· No possession or consumption of alcohol.
· No possession of glass beverage containers.
· Campfires allowed ONLY in BLM-provided fire rings.

Goldeneye Reservoir is located approximately 20 miles northwest of Casper on U.S. 20/26.
