Pinedale Anticline Working Group Sets Tour for June 27

The Pinedale Anticline Working Group (PAWG) has rescheduled a tour of the Pinedale Anticline for Tuesday, June 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. replacing a previous scheduled PAWG tour on June 20. This tour is open to the public; however there are a limited number of seats available on the tour bus. Please RSVP with PAWG liaison Matt Anderson as soon as possible.

The Pinedale Anticline Working Group (PAWG) has tentatively scheduled a tour of the Pinedale Anticline for Tuesday, June 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. “We would like to know how much public interest there is before we can lock in on a date,” said Matt Anderson PAWG coordinator for the Pinedale BLM Office.

The tour will give an overview of the various aspects of natural gas activities on the Anticline, including drilling and various monitoring and mitigation activities, such as reclamation and water resources. “We’re also in the process of firming up the tour day’s schedule,” Anderson added.

Lunch, refreshments, and safety gear such as hard hats, will be provided for visitors on this tour. For more information, contact Matt Anderson, PAWG Coordinator, at 307-367-5328.
