BLM’s Rawlins Energy Pilot Office Hosts Government/Industry Conference
Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Rawlins Field Office will host a government/industry conference and public open house on Thursday, June 15, from 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Jeffrey Center (located at Third and Spruce) in Rawlins, Wyo. The focus for this conference and open house is to exchange information regarding application procedures and regulatory processes associated with energy development. Oil and gas operators, pipeline companies, drilling companies, land owners, consultants, industry contractors, and interested public are invited to attend.
In addition to formal presentations, representatives from local, county, state, and federal agencies will be available in an adjoining conference room for one-on-one questions and answers on their regulatory processes.
BLM is hosting the conference to help facilitate communications between affected parties and government agencies. In addition, the forum will allow an opportunity to provide feedback on where processes might be improved or streamlined.
