Normally Pressured Lance Natural Gas Development Project

FY 2008

Project Withdrawn

On March 29, 2010, the Rock Springs Field Office received notification from EnCana Oil & Gas (USA), Inc. to withdraw its 2008 NPL proposal to develop 85 natural gas wells on more than 70,000 acres. The area is located approximately 70 miles northwest of Rock Springs, Wyo., immediately adjacent to the Jonah Field, bordering it to the south and west, and within the boundaries of both the Rock Springs and Pinedale field offices. Sometime in the near future, EnCana plans to submit a full field development project encompassing a similar, but larger geographical area.
