West Branch Well & Access Road

Wesco Operating Inc. has filed an application for permit to drill and produce the West Branch #1 oil well. They will construct well pad and access road and drill for hydrocarbons about twelve miles southeast of Powell Wyoming in the Whistle Creek Drainage. All new construction will occur entirely on federal surface managed by the Cody Field Office of the Bureau of Land Management. The project is in the McCullough Peaks Wild Horse Herd Management Area.
