Duck Swamp Interpretive Area

Interpretive and educational path.This 81-acre oxbow lake and marsh is a cut-off meander of the Bighorn River. Visitors can hike a 1 mile interpretive and educational loop overlooking the wetland to view and learn about its many residents: song birds, great blue herons, hawks, owls, dabbling ducks, kingfishers, muskrats, mink, beaver and others. The area is about 3 miles north of Worland on Wyoming State Highway 433. Drinking water, restrooms, car and bus parking, barbecue, and covered picnic tables are available for day-use.
