Rawlins Interagency Dispatch - To report a wildfire in southern Wyoming call 1-800-295-9953Fuel Hazard Reduction ProjectThe BLM Rawlins Field Office fuels crew teamed up with the City of Rawlins and Carbon County Fire Departments to reduce fuels at the Seminoe Dam government housing area. The site, located in the Seminoe Mountains northeast of Rawlins, is under Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) management, but BLM has fire suppression responsibilities for the area. Some of the BOR structures in the area are also leased to individuals as summer cabins. The BLM identified the area as a three-year fuels treatment project area under the National Fire Plan.
