Camping experiences range from developed fee campgrounds with pit toilets, full RV hookups and boat ramps, to dispersed camping opportunities where the visitor must “rough it.” These dispersed camping opportunities are part of what makes BLM land in Wyoming unique. In a developed campground or when utilizing a dispersed site, it is usually permissible to camp in an area for up to 14 days before having to move at least 25 miles from your original spot. You may not return to that area for 28 consecutive days.
