The Bureau of Land Management's Buffalo Field Office will have limited lobby access as it recovers from flood damage sustained June 3.
The office may be closed periodically to allow repair work to continue.
A number of BFO staff were relocated due to flood damage and ask for your patience regarding returning calls. Please call the BFO front desk at 307-684-1100, if you have trouble reaching a BFO employee.
The Buffalo Field Office manages 780,291 acres of public lands and 4,731,140 acres of mineral estate within Campbell, Johnson and Sheridan counties in north-central Wyoming. These three counties are part of the Northern Great Plains and are rich in old west history.
This area contains vast deposits of oil, gas and coal, in addition to providing a variety of resources such as wildlife habitat and rangelands for livestock grazing. The public lands and adjacent Bighorn National Forest provide many opportunities for recreational activities.
