Kemmerer Wareyard Paving ARRA Project

Need: The project consists of installing asphalt paving for approximately 250 lineal foot of looped road inside Kemmerer BLM Office Wareyard. It will also include installing crushed base and asphalt paving for approximately 350 lineal foot of roadway construction from Highway 189 to the entrance to the existing wareyard.

Recovery Act Funding: Items that will be completed during this project include road shaping, culvert installation, aggregate surfacing, and asphalt pavement. Marchant Construction from Lovell, Wyo was awarded the contract on April 28, 2010 for $54,992. Construction began on May 25, 2010 and was completed on June 7, 2010.

Benefits: Benefits of this project will provide improved access to the site, improving safety for employees.
