The Bureau of Land Management was provided $305 million to fund more than 650 projects across the country under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The investments will restore landscapes and habitat, spur renewable energy development on public lands, and create jobs.

BLM Wyoming received almost $22 million for various projects ranging from road improvements, historic trail enhancement, establishing renewable energy upgrades to BLM buildlings, wildlife inventories, and facility maintenance. Many of these projects could not be accomplished without the ARRA funds.
