Rangeland Management Specialist A BLM Rangeland Management Specialist manages the range plants on public land for livestock forage, watershed and soil protection, wildlife forage, and recreation uses. The Rangeland Management Specialist works with ranchers, wildlife biologists, environmentalists, and other interested parties to develop long-term management plans for sustaining healthy range plants while meeting the needs of diverse users. The Rangeland Management Specialist ensures the successful implementation and consistent evaluation of the management plans.
