Partnership with Communities
Each month, BLM employees across the country participate in intranet blog discussions about the organization's mission, policies, and culture. The intranet blog provides employees with connectivity and small-town talk within a nationwide bureau.
In one blog discussion, employees responded to the following question: What BLM action, decision, project, or program have you been involved in that you feel has been particularly successful and represents the best of BLM?
The majority of the employee responses emphasized the role of teamwork and community involvement in successful programs and projects. Four employee responses or blog comments, in particular, best represent the importance of the BLM's relationship with the public that it serves.
