Secure File Transfer Application

The BLM has replaced its external FTP site with a more secure browser-based application, Secure File Transfer Application, or SFTA.
 
To view and download files on this system, please visit http://www.blm.gov/sfta_anon.  You will need to provide a valid email address to access files.  Please see the How to Use BLM’s External SFTA Anonymous File Sharing Site document (PDF) for assistance in using this service.

In order to share files with the BLM, you must have the BLM employee with whom you wish to share submit a request on your behalf.  Once you have received your credentials, you will be able to upload files via the BLM Application Secure System (BASS) located at http://www.bass.blm.gov/bass2/.  Your credentials will remain in effect for 7-540 days, depending on the original share folder set-up by your BLM partner.  BASS passwords must be updated every 60 days.  Please note that you currently must use Microsoft Internet Explorer to access BASS (optimized for 7.0, accessible in later versions with Compatibility View Enabled).
