Standard Distribution of EISs

The BLM does not maintain a standard distribution list for EISs. We are required to file hardcopies of draft EISs with EPA (see section 13.3.2 of the Web Guide).

The DOI Office of Environmental Policy and Compliance (OEPC) has separate procedures for approving and filing EISs. Those can be found at:

Offices should use their judgement with respect to how to distribute EISs. The following list of contacts provides an example of parties that you may consider when determining how to distribute your EISs.
