The Lander Proposed Resource Management Plan (RMP) and Final Environmental Impact Statement (Lander RMP) was released on February 22 2013. This initiated a 30-day public protest period and a 60-day Governor’s consistency review for the plan. The BLM held a public comment period for the draft Lander RMP in 2011 and changes have been incorporated into the final to address Greater Sage-Grouse conservation needs. The BLM has reviewed the Greater Sage-Grouse portions of the Final Lander RMP and concluded that the recommendations of the National Technical Team report were included within the range of alternatives that it analyzed.
