Unique alphanumeric ID that helps identify the function of a particular point. There is a 6-character standard for points within the PLSS. GMM uses this standard for subdivision of sections. BLM catalogues non-PLSS corners into broad categories using the first three characters of a 6-character ID.

Positional value measured from a physical monument.

Format is DDMMSS.ssss and GMM assumes the value is North Latitude

Elevation above mean sea level. Units are assumed feet in GMM.
