Next Edition Website
This web site provides information regarding the next edition of the Manual of Surveying Instructions (Manual). In 2008 it is anticipated a draft of the next edition of the Manual will be complete. The draft will be subject to Agency, Departmental, and Governmental technical and legal reviews. The Manual is important to landowners, and land managers, and is critical to the surveying and land tenure communities. We will proceed in a deliberate and expedited manner and do intend to consider concerns of affected parties prior to the next edition of the Manual becoming final. In the future this web site will have updates on the next edition process. In the interim I can be contacted by using the following information.

POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS
The focus of presentations have been the relevance of the Manual to the work of private surveyors. This is done by an examination of individual State's statutes, regulations and case law. The process and procedure for developing the next edition of the Manual is also discussed. Note: You must have Powerpoint installed on your machine for these presentations to work.
