Business Process Improvement Methodology
Print Page

The BLM uses an integrated architectural approach to BPI that adapts to resource constraints, technological concerns, and organizational changes. Why did we modify the current methodology?

  • Allows the BPI Team to proactively meet the changing needs of the business community;

  • Allows the BPI Team to more efficiently coordinate with BEA, PMO, and BLM Investment Management efforts;

  • Provides greater flexibility in addressing the “uniqueness” of BLM issues / challenges and scaling the “scope of work” to respond to these challenges;

  • “Standardizes” the approach to develop inbound requirements for the DOI MBT / BLM CPIC processes. Can be used either as a “stand alone” and/or “add-on” process.
