Teen dies after falling in to mine shaft
Sunday January 20, 2008 PHOENIX 19-year-old man is dead after falling into an abandoned mine shaft.It happened just north of the Valley around midnight near 24th Street and Joy Ranch Road. According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, a group riding quads in the area ran into trouble when a 19-year old fell into a 35-foot shaft. His death marks the second deadly accident at an abandoned mine shaft in Arizona in the past year. Source: www.azfamily.com/news
