Brochures and Fact SheetsBrochuresThe National Conservation Lands have developed a brochure in english and en Español that provides an overview and highlights some of the treasured landscapes within the system. Fact SheetsThe Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 resulted in new additions to the National Landscape Conservation System. See the NLCS Designations Fact Sheet for more information. National Scenic and Historic Trails Strategy and Work Plan: This strategy and work plan provides a framework for the direction and management of the National Scenic and Historic Trails Program for a ten year period.

Tenth Anniversary Events
In 2010, the National Conservation Lands celebrated their tenth anniversary. The following links are to the national level events celebrating the anniversary.
Secretary of Interior, Ken Salazar, and Director of the Bureau of Land Management, Bob Abbey, kicked off the NLCS' 10th Anniversary Celebrations with an Open House Event on March 24th. We co-hosed, with the Center for the American West, a roundtable event in Boulder, CO. To listen to a podcast of the event in Boulder, click here.
