Socioeconomic Impacts in Texas

The BLM's management of public lands in Texas supported more than 1,200 jobs in Fiscal Year 2013.  Those reported jobs were related to oil and gas, which amounted to about $388.8 million.  That figure was also the overall BLM economic impact.  This table provides employment and economic output by category.  Economic output data are in millions of dollars.
