Socioeconomic Impacts in North Dakota

The BLM's management of public lands in North Dakota supported more than 6,300 jobs in Fiscal Year 2010.  Most of the jobs were related to oil and gas, which resulted in an economic impact of about $1.4 billion.  The overall BLM economic impact was also about $1.4 billion.  This table provides employment and economic output by category.  Economic output data are in millions of dollars.
