Socioeconomic Impacts in Nevada

The BLM's management of public lands in Nevada supported more than 8,500 jobs in Fiscal Year 2011.  Most of the jobs were related to recreation, which resulted in an economic impact of about $547.6 million.  The overall BLM economic impact was about $1 billion.  This table provides employment and economic output by category.  Economic output data are in millions of dollars.
