Socioeconomic Impacts in Colorado

The BLM's management of public lands in Colorado supported more than 51,000 jobs in Fiscal Year 2011.  Most of the jobs were related to oil and gas activity, which resulted in an economic impact of about $9.5 billion.  The overall BLM economic impact was about $11.5 billion.  This table provides employment and economic output by category.  Economic output data are in millions of dollars.
